Katherine Wang earned 3rd Chair Flute in the Symphonic Band, which qualifies her for an All-State Honors Band audition.

The Central District (our band district) includes everywhere from eastern Wake County to western Guilford County, and from southern Randolph County to the Virginia state line. The All-District Band will rehearse February 4-5, 2011 at Eastern Guilford HS in Gibsonville NC. The concert will take place February 5, 2011 at 3:00pm at Eastern Guilford HS.

All Salem students who auditioned are to be commended for setting goals and following through with this very worthwhile process! I am proud of all of them!

I heard from other directors and parents from other schools about the awesome way in which our Salem students conducted themselves throughout the afternoon and evening of the auditions at Carnage Middle School. BRAVO kids!
